About the position
The main objective is to contribute to SSAB Division Special Steels overall strategy and profitability, by minimizing working capital and to mitigate bad debts, enhance the corporations’ competitiveness, and simultaneously balance risks with favourable customer and sales experience. Around fifteen credit professionals in Poland, Sweden and Finland’s shared service centres are at your disposal to achieve your goals, with a central role as the only Export Credit Controller in the credit team. Other team members are located in Sweden, USA, Mexico, Canada, Poland, and Netherlands, reporting directly to the Director & Head of Credit Management, whom is located at SSAB Group headquarter in Stockholm.
Business travel is essential when motivated.
An onboarding program will be arranged, with personal meetings with top executives and key-employees.

Main responsibilities
Credit risk assessment and decisions of major credit control tasks.
Report credit KPI’s and drive actions for improvements.
Process ownership and assure Shared Service Centre’s are compliant to SSAB Credit Policy.
Develop Management reporting systems and ensure its output quality.
Provide Sales management with data, support and trade finance solutions.
Negotiations with clients, credit insurers, banks and other service providers.
Drive strategically important projects within SSAB.
Close cooperation with EKN, Atradius Insurance, Banks, Credit Data suppliers, GBS, Treasury and Sales.



About You
Several years of export credit control working experience.
Documented experience and indebt knowledge of trade finance instruments.
Proficiency of unstructured data management and reporting systems.
Great integrity with a business oriented mind, and a genuine drive for improvements and problem solving.
Strong communicative skills with ability to work independently and create productive relations and team alliances.
Bachelor or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics.
Management background.
EU-citizenship is requested.

Vi söker nu en senior Financial controller till divisionens redovisningsavdelning som med tid förväntas kunna ha en helhetsöversyn för divisionens finansiella rapportering. Du kommer arbeta huvudsakligen med tyngre redovisningsfrågor och analyser samt upprättar månads-, kvartals- och årsbokslut för divisionen som består av mer än 80 rapporterande enheter runt om i världen. Du kommer även att lägga en betydande del av din tid på att förstå vårt materialflöde, i synnerhet ämnes-och plåtflödet, samt göra lagervärderingar och analyser av detsamma. En del av ansvaret är att stötta dotterbolagen i olika redovisningsfrågor och säkerställa att de följer koncernens redovisningsprinciper.

Vem är du?
Vi söker dig som är utbildad ekonom med inriktning mot redovisning. Du har mycket goda kunskaper inom både löpande redovisning och i synnerhet koncernredovisning. Du har en längre erfarenhet från liknande roller, gärna från ett internationellt och börsnoterad bolag som följer IFRS.
Tidigare erfarenhet av att arbeta i systemet SAP samt koncernredovisningssystemet AARO är meriterande. Du är en erfaren användare av MS Office.
För att nå framgång i rollen behöver du vara en god problemlösare och ha lätt för att integrera med och leda många olika kontakter runt hela världen. Du är drivande och förväntas arbeta aktivt med utveckling och förbättringsarbete av processer och rutiner. Som person är du målmedveten och engagerad. I rollen kommer du att bidra till analysen av de finansiella rapporterna varför noggrannhet och en god analytiskt förmåga är viktiga.
Du uttrycker dig väl på svenska och engelska, i både tal och skrift.
